In Australia, women still get paid 16.2% less than men for doing the same job. To raise awareness, we created stickers for the female side of Australian banknotes (yep — every Aussie note has a woman on one side and a man on the other), reducing its value by exactly 16.2%. These notes travelled across the country, getting thousands of people to quite literally ‘stick it to the man’ — and sparking a national conversation about the gender pay gap.
